Nativo Experience: dinner in a Cave - The Argentino Lake is the third biggest lake in South America. Surrounded by mountains and fed by giant glaciers, this lake astonishes local and foreign visitors with its immensity and special color. It was exactly that light blue color, the mountains covered in white and the light blue sky what motivated Francisco P. Moreno to name it “Argentino”. “Nativo Experience – Lakes and caves” is a 4x4 activity through the Argentino Lake’s shore, with an anthropological approach that tours man’s presence over the years in this region. The aim is to rediscover the first expeditions of the brave ones who dare to go into the unknown and how their first interaction with the natives was. Thus, among cliffs and views to the Andes Mountain, one personally feels the Tehuelche world along 20km. Stopping for taking pictures will help to go even deeper in typical flora and fauna details, as well as trying to understand the legacy left by those natives through their cave paintings. Imagination will be set free among chenques and awnings, immersed in thousands of years of history. On the lake’s shore, there are millennial caves where Tehuelche culture left its mark printed on the rocks to be read. After visiting them, participants finish the tour having lunch or dinner inside another big cave.

Enjoy NYE festivities in town.

Day 10 - January 03, 2026

Buenos Aires

B, L

Private Full Day City Tour

Today we will pick you up at your hotel to explore Buenos Aires's major tourist attractions on a tour that covers all the highlights of this cultural metropolis. You will learn about the Porteños' lifestyle, vibrant culture, and music. On our way to "Plaza de Mayo" square, we will visit important historical monuments and significant buildings such as the "Casa Rosada" government house and the Congress. We will experience the European flair that has given the city its fame by strolling around eclectic neighborhoods. From antique San Telmo and colorful working-class La Boca to the fancy and chic Recoleta with its famous cemetery, representing the elegant and historical Buenos Aires and containing the graves of many of Argentina's emblematic figures, such as Eva Perón. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.

Stop for choripan and drinks in San Telmo at the indoor market. Enjoy a savory stop at the traditional market of San Telmo, to have a choripan (sausage in a bun) with a glass of cold beer or soft drink. Why San Telmo Market?: This large indoor market has stalls offering everything from antiques to fresh fruit and spices. With a typically Italian facade and large interior spaces, the Mercado de San Telmo opened in 1897 to cater to the needs of the new wave of immigrants arriving from Europe. The stalls have since been updated but the internal structure of the market remains the same, with metal columns and beams, so stepping inside is still like stepping back in time. The building was declared a National Historic Monument in the year 2000. There are stalls selling food, antiques, crafts, records, and toys, making for an eclectic mix. The Coffee Town stall is known for having some of the best coffee in the city.

Day 11 - January 04, 2026

Buenos Aires - Home

B, L

Lunch arranged at a local bodegon. Then private transfer from hotel to airport for your international flight home.
