Whether you want adventure, relaxation or to escape the summer heat, we got you covered.

HIKING IN PERU

Our summer season is Peru’s winter season, which means we can expect milder temperatures and less rainfall during the months of May-September. This is an ideal time to do some hiking on one of the many incredible trails of Peru.

a.     Palcoyo Mountains: Also known as the Rainbow Mountains. The hike is suitable for all fitness levels at around 3.1 miles long. A few days of acclimation is recommended in Cusco since the elevation of the hike is quite high (16,400’). The Rainbow Mountains are composed of stratified layers of sandstone. These fine-grained rock layers contain large amounts of iron and other minerals, which give the mountains the pigments for the various colored stripes.

b.     Inca Trail: In the Inca Trail takes you through the impressive Andean mountain range with stunning views and a glimpse into the rich history of Inca Empire.  With every step, you will be transported back in time, walking in the footsteps of the great Inca emperors. The Inca trail winds its way through lush tropical forests, pristine high-altitude lakes, and mysterious ruins, offering an unforgettable experience that combines breathtaking scenery with rich cultural heritage. And we can't forget about a visit to Machu Picchu!

SAN CARLOS BARILOCHE, Patagonia, Argentina

Want to escape the heat and go skiing in the summer?!

a.     Once you try their chocolate and see the views you’ll see why Bariloche is a popular winter (our summer) destination. The skiing is pretty spectacular too. You’ll find the southern hemisphere’s largest ski resort here, Cerro Catedral. Over 75 miles of ski runs!

b.     Amazing restaurants and chocolate shops serving thick, decadent hot chocolate to warm you up. (hint: we know all the best spots)

AMAZON JUNGLE

Visit the Amazon Jungle in Brazil during the summer to catch it at its driest season.

a.   Covering an area of 6.7 million km2 (26 million sq mi), the Amazon spans 40% of South America and is by far the largest rainforest in the world. The Amazon basin is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet and is believed to be home to 10% of all known species.

b.     Connect with nature in a place known as the “lungs of the earth”.

c.     Photograph wild animals, taste exotic fruits, relax on unspoiled beaches and cruise down the Amazon River.

d.     Stay in a jungle lodge, take an Amazon river cruise and spend your nights on a liveaboard river boat or make Alter Do Chão your resting place with its white sand beaches and laidback atmosphere. There truly is an experience for everyone.

SOUTH AFRICA

Dry season, amazing road trips, family friendly lodges and let's not forget the wine!

a.     South Africa offers some of the most diverse landscapes on the planet. From the sparkling oceans and stark deserts to snow-capped mountains and savannas brimming with wildlife.

b.     Exploring South Africa with a private driver allows visitors to stop and explore, experiencing the diverse cultural groups, local cuisines and interesting architecture. There are multiple road trip routes to choose from!

c.     We have several family friendly resort partners where you will enjoy local cuisine, learn about African culture and explore the beauty of the land.

BELIZE

Diving, caves, tubing and beaches!

a. If you love to dive then you must visit the reefs off of Belize. Belize is a known diving destination and summer is a great time go. Your diving trip isn't complete without a dive to the Blue Hole! At least that's what Jacques Cousteau tells us.

b. Belize is home to intricate caves and caverns that shows its Mayan and spiritual history. Some cave tours involve hiking, swimming, crawling and wading, proving to be one of the most adventurous things to do while in Belize.

 c.     Thanks to an incredible coastline hugging the Caribbean and more than 200 off-shore islands, Belize offers paradise settings of white and golden sand beaches and luxurious resorts.
